Responsible Business as a Bridge for Outdoor Connections
she/her/hers
“
I grew up in Ottawa, Canada and started white water kayaking at 14 yrs old, which fueled my desire to learn and be outside. I soon sought out people who could teach her about the outdoors and eventually became a raft guide and ski coach. I’ve worked in the outdoors part-time for most of my life, and being outside it is what inspired me to build Campsyte, a startup focused on creating outdoor urban space that brings vitality, energy, and social connection to humans who live in cities.
I’ve worked in investment banking, biotech, and residential development. I think a lot about what products could help the world and people. From Honduras, Tanzania, Kenya, India, I’ve had irreplaceable experiences volunteering. I hold a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia, an MBA from Western Ontario, and a Masters in Human Development and Psychology at Harvard. My passion for the outdoors extends beyond work, as I can regularly be found mountain biking, surfing, trail running, and backcountry skiing. I am currently working for Lunchclub; a company focused on bringing meaningful 1:1 conversations to people. I believe bringing awareness to the outdoors and nature builds love and stewardship of the planet.
I currently live, work and play in the Lake Tahoe region.”
